In the middle of la Selva county (20 km from Girona - Costa Brava International Airport), between Santa Coloma de Farnés and Riudarenes. You can rent a recently restored typical XIXth century Catalan Cotage: masia CAN RAJOLER.

Up to 12-14 people can confortably sleep in can Rajoler.

The coutage has a hen house with 25 chicken and hens that will provide you with fresh eggs.

In Can Rajoler we grow our own fresh vegetables. There is also a tree plantation and a large Mediterranean forest.

At the beginning of the XIXth century the Sierra Magra (Poor Mountain) was a land where people lived out of a subsistence agriculture. The hilly contryside did not allow extensive plantations and peasents lived a hard life.

In those sorroundings an oven to make bricks and tiles was built: Can Rajoler (The House of the brick maker).

The oven dissappeared long ago but the house remains and also some reminders of the old agriculture such as some pictures from the early twentieth century.

Imagine being awaken by a rooster. Sleep a siesta listening to the co-coot and simply walk aroung among a tree and cork-tree forest. These a just some of the things you can do in can Rajoler.

If you enjoy riding by bicycle you can go through the forest and arrive until the castlle of Farners or the Argimon small church with a excepcional view that shows you from Tibidabo in Barcelona until Girona.

Other chances are the visit to the Santa Coloma spa , the weekly market or Magma.
